The world “out there” has tempted me since I was a kid. First it was short drives from our little village, short trips where I first felt how quickly the unknown can pull you in. I started getting to know country on the southern side of the Alps through nature and (above all) sports halls. Then came concert venues with a decade of stages and night drives. In recent years, I’ve been most drawn to people, stories, and food — the real flavors of places you don’t always find in “top 10” lists.
Over time, boundaries moved. The window to the world opened wide, and travel bug became a constant companion. And because every trip brings a bunch of new knowledge and insights, I started writing them down, not just for the sake of memories but to help someone else avoid a detour, disappointment, or to find that “this is it!” moment.
