Practice example

Here you can already try composing a little and get familiar with basic music notation.

Is 1-on-1 coaching good for a complete beginner?

Yes. We start with the basics: drum setup, sitting position, posture and technique.
Then we move to grooves, dynamics and different playing styles on the kit.

Does it make sense if I’m not a beginner?

One-on-one mentoring works at any level. First, we identify weaknesses, then build a practice plan tailored to your goals (band work, recording, getting familiar with new styles, etc.).

What do you gain from one-on-one lessons?

  • A program tailored to your level, goals and musical taste.
  • Know how — what to practice, how to practice and for how long.
  • Different approaches to the same challenge.
  • Feedback → faster progress.
  • Developing your own style and expression.
  • Motivation to unlock your potential.

Reviews

Kristian (beginner):
“Learning with a mentor is completely different from learning on your own at home. I didn’t get far by myself.”

One-on-one teaching has a big advantage: mentor can focus on my playing and spot mistakes I wouldn’t normally notice. Learning is much faster than in an institution, and easier to adapt to your needs.

Playing technically demanding exercises together feels easier and more relaxed, and it’s also easier to stay accurate.

Lessons usually take place once or twice a week (or as agreed). One part focuses on technique, the other on the kit, where we work through problems in the music I choose.

As a mentor, Aleš is adaptable, relaxed and professional. He increases the difficulty gradually and continuously pushes your progress with a varied approach.

Jure (experienced drummer):

“Highly recommended! An innovative approach to learning.”
